We visited Amba Ji Shree Shakti Mandir in Lake City of Georgia (USA) on Monday 26th December 2011.

The temple is located approximately 75 miles, west of Athens.

Among the devotees were, Ravi Rawal, Seema Rawal, Rohan rawal, JP Singh, Anupama Singh, Aditya Singh, Uma Sharan Singh, Puja Singh, Yuvi Singh, Ravi Shankar, RC Mishra and Rekha Shukla.

Dear All,

We wish you a very happy Diwali. We hope that the year ahead is full of joy, happiness and success for you and your loved ones.

To add sparkling beauty to this festival of Lights we will light firecrackers this Wednesday evening at 7.30 pm in Raintree. As per permission and instructions from Fire Marshal of Clarke county and Raintree property manager, we figured out that the best place would be the central parking area between building B and FairFax appts after we move the cars away from there. So, please come and light those crackers (NO aerial and noisy stuff, only sparkles, fountains, chakri and mehtaabs). Please do come and if you know of someone else in our common friends circle, whom we have not included, please let them know as well.

Dr Manish Mahawar’s Farewell Party

Dr Manish would be joining IVRI, Izatnagar as Senior Scientist by the end of August 2011. He’s been in USA for almost 5 years and now he is going to settle in INDIA along with wife Yogita and son Shreyash.

On this occasion a Pot Luck Dinner Party was organized by us contributed by our better halves namely:  All Mrs Anju; Anupama; Maneesha; Puja; Dr Rekha; Renu; Seema and Dr Sumiti. Dr Uma Sharan Singh hosted the party at his residence, Dr Ravindra Rawal and Dr Pankaj Sethi co-ordinated the event along with All Drs. Manjinder Singh, Pankaj Singh, Animesh, Ravi Shankar Nainawat, RC Mishra and Dr Touqeer. 

 

We all wish him a bright future as a Scientist and prosperity to his family and friends in INDIA.

Vishal's Birth Day Party

First of all we would like to wish a very-very Happy 5th B'Day to Vishal, son of Prashant and PraNalee. His Birth Day was on May 3rd.

Prashant & PraNali invited us in Family Housing Celebration Hall for a get together, Cake cutting ceremony and dinner party where ~30 families participated from Athens and nearby cities.

Marigold flowers in UGA Gardens

The season has just started for the Marigold Flowers. These are also known as Mexican Marigold with botanical name as Tagetus erecta.
I particularly like the lemon yellow or very light yellow colored ones.
